We're all stuck in our houses. Well, maybe not for some of us. Some of us might still be going about life as if nothing has happened. Most of us are in our houses for 95% of the day, and there shouldn't be anything bad to be said about that either. There are some people stocking up on everything they can because they are currently living in fear of this pandemic, yet there are also people who are living in practically no fear at all. Obviously there's no justification for those people who deliberately cough near others with the intent to cause fear or to even potentially spread disease. Towards the beginning of this pandemic, it appeared that the U.S. was split in two halves, rather than working together to help end this pandemic. As of late, things seem to be headed in a little bit of a hopeful direction, but we still aren't sure what's going to happen.

I've worked at Chipotle for almost a year now. I've learned a lot while working their and I enjoy my time working their greatly. However, I didn't know I was an essential worker. When COVID-19 hit, and when things became very serious, I learned that I was still able to work. Due to everybody being quarantined inside their homes, the only way to order Chipotle is through an app of some sorts. Customers can only come into our restaurant to pick up their food...that's it. With the lack of customers, it definitely takes the potential "edge" off of employees. We don't have to speak to any customers, and we can work at a much faster and rapid pace.
Since the start of quarantine, the only time I ever leave my house is to go to work. I am an essential worker, working at Chipotle. Technology has made it possible for customers to still get their food regardless of whether or not they even enter the restaurant. The impact technology has on me is a great one, because without it I wouldn't have a job right now. Another aspect of my life right now currently being affected by technology is schooling. The work isn't necessarily difficult, it's just sometimes I tend to push it to the side and forget about it.
